Time and termination are key concepts in Ruiya Xu's works. Ruiya wrote a "science fiction myth" that explores the disappearance of time steam under the influence of entropy, where all things from the past and future converge in the present and collectively march towards a state of disorder and infinite termination. Sand, as a powerful material, plays a crucial role in presenting the concept of this series of artworks.
